- 1977 – 2003 – Head of Plasma theory laboratory, Head of Plasma physics department, Director of plasma physics and high-power electronics division, Deputy director of the IAP RAS for science
- 2003 – up to now – Director of the IAP RAS
- 1992 – up to now – vice-president of GYCOM Ltd.
