The present-day social sphere includes:
- IAP dispensary , over ten qualified specialists examine IAP employees, members of their families and collaborators from other academic institutions of the city;
- N. Talalushkin child's sanitation camp in Green Town for 160 boys and girls, annually 450-500 children have their summer vacation including 250 children of IAP workers. For the last 15 years, the 3 rd shift has been organized for Summer Physical and Mathematical School (SPMS) for upperclassmen, annually over 100 schoolchildren of Nizhny Novgorod and the region take part in SPMS, children from other cities and research centers of Russia have also been involved for the last two years;

Recreation base “Varnavino” |
summer recreation base “Varnavino” for 100 people, annually up to 500 IAP workers and members of their families have rest in this picturesque nook, rich in nature gifts on river Vetluga of Nizhny Novgorod region. An additional session of SPMS has also been organized there the third year;
- nursery for 90 children, situated in a block next to IAP;
- physical-culture and sanitary center, over 150 IAP worker and members of their families are engaged in more than 10 sections of this center;
- public catering establishments (cafeteria and buffet) cater for over 300 people every day, a food shop and kiosks are available in the hall, a hairdresser's and a shoe-repair shop serve IAP workers.
